DU GÉNÉRAL-MAJOR LAURENT NKUNDA MIHIGO
SERA ENTENDUE PAR LE TRIBUNAL DE GRANDE INSTANCE DE KIGALI

Vendredi le 6 mars dernier, Madame Élyzée MAHESHE NKUNDA, épouse du Général-major Laurent NKUNDA MIHIGO, agissant par l’entremise de son avocat, Me Stéphane Bourgon, déposait une Requête pour la mise en liberté de son mari devant le Tribunal de Grande Instance de Kigali.
La requête pour la mise en liberté du Général-major Laurent NKUNDA MIHIGO sera entendue par le Tribunal de Grande Instance de Kigali, mardi le 10 mars 2009 à 14h00.
Cette audience aura pour objectif, entres autres, de déterminer et/ou confirmer l’identité de l’autorité gouvernementale responsable de l’arrestation et de la détention du Général Laurent NKUNDA MIHIGO, l’emplacement du lieu où il est détenu, et surtout, la base légale de sa détention, s’il en est une.

WILL BE HEARD BY THE TRIBUNAL OF FIRST INSTANCE OF KIGALI
ON TUESDAY 6 MARCH 2009 AT 14H00
On Friday 6 March 2009, Mrs. Élyzée MAHESHE NKUNDA, wife of General-Major Laurent NKUNDA MIHIGO, acting through her Counsel Me Stéphane Bourgon, filed a motion seeking the release of her husband, before the Tribunal of First Instance of Kigali.
The motion seeking the release of General-Major Laurent NKUNDA MIHIGO will be heard by the Tribunal of First Instance of Kigali, on Tuesday 10 March 2009 at 14h00.
The purpose of this hearing, among other things, is to determine and/or confirm the identity of the governmental authority responsible for the arrest and the detention of General-Major Laurent NKUNDA MIHIGO, the location of the site where he is detained, and more importantly, the legal basis for his detention, if it exists.
